Griller | Pretoria | Upmarket Steakhouse
We are looking for skilled, passionate and experienced GRILLERS to join the culinary team at a renowned Upmarket Steakhouse in Pretoria East. Known for exceptional food, service, and a sophisticated atmosphere, this restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring steaks, seafood, and vegetarian options.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Matric
- Proven experience as a steak Griller in a high-end restaurant with a minimum of 8 to 10 Years’ experience
- In-depth knowledge of different steak cuts and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Passion for food and dedication to exceeding guest expectations.
- Must have a positive attitude and a sense of urgency
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Expertly grills steaks to order, understanding various cuts and desired doneness levels.
- Maintains a clean and organized grill station, adhering to all food safety standards. Communicates effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate orders.
- Monitors food quality and presentation, ensuring every steak meets the restaurant’s high standards.
- Efficiently manages multiple orders while maintaining composure in a very fast-paced environment.
- Contributes to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Salary Package:
- R10 000, Negotiable, depending on experience and skills
- Duty Meals
- Night shift transport
- 1 and a half day off per week
