FOH and Reservations Manager | Cederberg | Luxurious Retreat
We are seeking a dedicated FOH AND RESERVATIONS MANAGER to become part of the vibrant team at this tranquil retreat, nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Cederberg Mountains.

As ideal candidate you will have:
- Matric
- Certificate/diploma in Hospitality management/front of house operations
- At least 4 Years’ experience from Luxury Retreat or upmarket Lodge environment
- Prior experience in APEX for PMS and Pluspoint for POS systems, will be an advantage
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Must be able to work in a remote location
- Familiarity with international standards in hospitality and guest services will be an advantage
- Well-presented and professional demeanor
- Exceptional ability to handle guest queries, complaints and requests is critical
- Clear and effective communication with guests, staff and management
- Ability to manage, motivate, and train a team of front of house staff
- Ensuring accurate bookings, reservations and customer information is essential
- Ability to juggle various duties, especially during busy check-in/check-out periods
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage reception desk
- Operate switchboard – answer and transfer calls
- Take messages where required and pass messages on to the applicable recipient
- Provide customer support for call-in inquiries
- Provide information on activities/restaurant/sight-seeing
- Handle administrative inquiries
- Manage Petty cash
- Invoicing and shop sales
- Daily cash ups
- Liaise with walk in customers, suppliers and service providers
- Manage all bookings
- Ensure all guests have signed the online waiver prior to arrival.
- Welcome guests and provide introductory briefing
- Handle guest accounts/check-in & Check-out
- Manage the Curio shop including – purchases, sales, stock and pricing.
- Place orders for products when required.
- Help with restaurant as and when needed
- Provide admin assistance to management when required
- Manage filing of paperwork pertaining to petty cash, invoicing, deliveries, receipt of goods, stock inventory etc.
- Provide weekly feedback to General Manager
Salary Package
- R14 000
- Accommodation will be provided
- Meals included
- 3 weeks on, one week off rotation
