Executive Chef | Qatar | Upmarket Steakhouse
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced EXECUTIVE CHEF to lead the kitchen at a premier Upmarket Steakhouse in Doha, Qatar. Known for its sophisticated ambiance, exceptional cuisine, and commitment to culinary excellence
The restaurant offers a diverse menu showcasing premium beef, chicken, lamb, seafood, and a wide array of appetizers. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven chef to make their mark and contribute to the restaurant’s continued success
As ideal candidate you will have:
- Culinary degree/diploma from a recognized institution
- 6+ years’ experience in upscale restaurant/steakhouse environment
- Strong food management knowledge
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creative menu development and execution skills
- Cost control and budgeting experience
- HACCP and food safety knowledge
- Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations
- Menu development and costing
- Food preparation and quality control
- Inventory management and ordering
- Staff hiring, training, and scheduling
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Budgeting and cost control
- Liaising with management and front-of-house staff
- Ensuring customer satisfaction
- Problem-solving and decision-making in the kitchen
- Creative culinary skills and passion for food
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
