I am currently working as the Head Chef at Mangwanani African Spa Sibaya, Durban.
I have extensive food handling experience in mainly pastry as well as hot and cold
kitchen. I have earned my B-Tech in Consumer Sciences Food and Nutrition at the
Durban University of Technology. I am confident that I have the skills, creativity and
passion to excel in your kitchen. I was previously working as the Pastry Chef at
Protea Fire and Ice Hotel by Marriott in Umhlanga Ridge. My knowledge and
experience has grown immensely in pastry, hot and cold kitchen, buffets, ala carte,
banquetting, recipe development, menu planning, stock take, recieving stock, Haccp,
admin files and Auditing. I have kept the sanitation of the kitchen up to standard and
trained staff well. As a chef I am passionate about food preparation and food styling
as well as gaining new skills and knowledge.
