I have over 24 years’ experience, in B2B, face to face industrial sales and marketing, ranging from
Sports Marketing and Sponsorship, Petrochemical, Flavours and Food raw materials with many years
of sales experience in Africa. I have developed a thorough understanding of partnering with key
personnel and through customer interaction within FMCG companies producing for the Food and
Beverage retail consumer markets in South Africa, Southern Africa (Zimbabwe, Angola, Botswana,
Mozambique, Zambia, Namibia) East Africa (Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya) and West Africa
(Ghana, Nigeria). I have equipped myself to successfully achieve innovation resulting in sales, whilst
retaining existing sales with a proven track record. Relationship building is key to me and to date I still
have many good relationships with top food and beverage manufacturers.
In my career I have built, coached and managed Sales teams that have delivered positively to what
was expected of them. Sales is where my expertise and passion lie, and It is important for me to be
part of a dynamic international company in which I am supported by sound technical skills, supportive
Leadership and passionate colleagues. I come to you as a hands-on individual who has experience of
leading teams in all areas of a business. In addition to this, I am a natural leader who is good at
coaching, developing and motivating staff to do better. Furthermore, I work well under pressure, can
manage multiple tasks at short notice and am an expert at prioritising my own workload. Apart from
having the personality needed to lead, coach, develop and motivate teams, I also have the ability to
influence the behaviours of others to achieve goals, and get things done which I have achieved in
previous roles.
