About Me
My most prominent passion would be my love for food and hospitality. From age 20 I began my career in the food and hospitality industry. I started as a waiter before deciding to further my education as a chef, since which I have gained experience in front and back of house.
I have accumulated extensive hospitality and recipe knowledge combined with a great understanding of clientele. Additionally, my product knowledge would include food and beverage trends, touching on food allergens, dietary requirements and packaging.
I am able to take initiative and anticipate theneeds of guests, go above and beyond to give the extra touch, and be attentive to the needs of others. I follow good hygiene practices (personal hygiene and hygiene in the workplace) – critical control points, FIFO, correct storage conditions and preventing cross contamination have been the foundation of education and
are natural instincts.
I am responsible with good time-keeping. Value good relationships (in and out the workplace) and bond well with others. I have a passion for the environment and sustainable practices. I am a fast learner with a strong desire to grow and learn
I am extremely hard working – I am highly productive with a practical mindset. I am happy to work long hours and put in over and above what is required of me.
I believe in positive energy – showing a positive attitude towards work with good energy levels I offer a great sense of humor and love interacting with people. I take pride in my work and appearance. I am a good team player – I’m able to work well with others and communicate effectively. I have a strong belief in working together to achieve a common goal.
