About Me

I started my career as a Manager in Training with Woolworths at the age of 21. Graduating 2yrs later through the Woolworths Training Academy I then spent 6 Years as a Junior / Departmental Manager across 3 stores, after which I was honoured to be taken to the company’s Number 1 Door, Sandton City.

I lead Clothing & Home Teams for 2 years achieving great milestones, and was then promoted to Senior Manager, and did the rounds of stores for a short while as I was once again requested to Head the Beauty Department & Customer Experience in Sandton, which was my last portfolio in the company. I lead a highly energetic, motivated & inspired team of 2 junior Managers, 2 Supervisors and 51 Staff, overseeing Responsible 23 High end International cosmetic brands EG: La Prairie, Chanel, Tom Ford, La Mer) My Beauty department, which contributed 14% to total stores brought in R50 000 000 per annum.

1) I have received 6 Awards during my career at Woolworths, including a CEO Award in 2018 – The highest Award to be given to any employee.

2) I was awarded a Merchant Program Award – A Selected few employees from each province once a year are nominated to attend this one week program.

3) Upskilled to Transformational Leader, who leads people by giving the team an Employee Experience with Care & Purpose, which Translates to an Authentic, Memorable Customer Experience. EX=CX=SALES

4) Original Creator & Starter of the official Woolworths SA Facebook page back in 2008 – Granted an Award by Head office – Was flown down to hand over the page to marketing.
