Junior Accountant | Kramerville – JHB | Restaurant Brand
A nationwide restaurant brand is seeking a JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT for their office in Kramerville, Johannesburg, with a start date of 3 March 2024.
Key Requirements:
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP level or higher)
- Experience with GAAP (or similar systems)
- Familiarity with restaurant bookkeeping processes and procedures
- Knowledge of SAGE / Xero
- Strong understanding of stock management and accounting
Requirements:
- South African ID required
- Relevant Degree preferred (Diploma will be considered)
- Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash-up reconciliation (3 entities, 18 stores)
- Processing cash purchases
- Monthly accounting and stock journals
- Overseeing stock takes
- Processing cashbooks
- Supplier & customer administration and processing
Salary:
- CTC between R20,000 – R25,000
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
