My current employer, Premier Hotels Sani Pass is not aware of the fact that I am seeking employment elsewhere and I ask that this be kept confidential for the time being. I have attached references from my key Heads of Departments at the resort so long.

 

I write this cover letter to give you some background to my experience in the hospitality industry, and seek to join a dynamic luxury organisation in a leadership position with respect to either of the following roles:

·       General management or operations position.

·       Marketing and Sales position.

·       A fixed term or consultancy position.

I have been in the industry for 24 years and have accumulated diverse experience across a wide spectrum of the hospitality sector including top end 5-star products.

Following this, I took on a fixed term contractual marketing consultancy at !Khamab Kalahari Reserve www.khamab.co.za and was based remotely in Johannesburg serving as their marketing manager from September 2022 to February 2023.

My key qualities and abilities can be summarised as follows:

ü  I have an active tour operator and trade data base of 18500 around the globe and have developed good relations with many of them.

ü  My networking sales experience is unparalleled and my ability to sell hospitality products is

ü  second to few! I can add significant occupancy and revenue value to a lodge, hotel, or hospitality

ü  product I would be passionate about. Have an ability to accurately sell the real picture.

ü  Happy to be the representative of an organisation and attend all major trade shows.

ü  Excellent communication skills.

 

I do not have a degree or diploma, but my experience is significant and speaks for itself.

 

I am a single divorced man aged 52, I do not drink or smoke, and have no baggage.

 

I am available to start within 2 weeks notice.
