About Me

I have for the last 29 years undertaken and contributed to five major career positions in environments  that have included the catering and events industry, FMCG,  logistics and marketing and sales / KAM. For the past 14 years, I have run my own successful catering, events, water branding (FMCG) and logistics company, providing a full life cycle of service requirements in the food and beverage market including et al Sasol, City of Johannesburg, AECI and Milpark Business School, Checkers, Dischem, Clicks, Pick n Pay, Woolworths, and various franchises. As of 2014, I have also been consulting to other catering, events companies and FMCG companies regarding costs, streamlining of production, and logistics, dealing with Government contracts and staffing contracts. My company operated at various location and types of hospitality businesses, restaurant, coffee shops, and canteens, and client venues, so managing various sites was one of my daily duties. I developed a costing programme for the Catering industry, that is currently being used by various hospitality companies and restaurants. In 2017 I designed and built (patent pending) a new concept of container kitchens which is not reliant on a water and electricity infrastructure, to service the growing market in developing countries. Prior to this, focus was placed heavily on Marketing and Logistics Manager within the Hot-Dip galvanising (steel industry), international and local freight and courier services as well as the media environment. I am highly adaptable, conscientious and have a keen ability to multi task as proven above. My skills sets and capability also extends itself to people or human resource management, budget and cost control, public relations and event planning and management. Ambitious with a positive attitude, I have a penchant for building on and improving customer relationships and relationship building within a team. I am confident with a positive attitude and extremely hard working.
